The Sensors page enables you to view, search, add, edit, and delete sensors.
A Sensor is a device which senses an activity and sends an output based on the specific activity.
You must configure a sensor for an action with an alarm output. When the specified action is performed, an alarm is generated.
The Sensors page lists the sensors, along with the Device Type, Response Type, Loop Number, and so on.
To view or search a sensor:
In the
AlarmNet 360 home page,
type the City-CS-Sub
or the MAC ID
of the device and then click Search.
The account number, along with the device details, appears.
Under
Actions, select
Edit and then click
the
icon. The Account Overview
page appears.
In the left pane, click Sensors.
Type the Serial Number/MAC in the search bar and then press Enter. The relevant sensor, with all the details, is listed.

The filter option enables you to perform an advance level of searching the sensors from the list.
To filter sensors:
In the
Sensors page, click
the
icon. The Filter
Sensors pane appears.
You can select either or all of the following:
Configured Sensors: To list the configured sensors which has all peripheral information such as, serial number, device type, and so on.
Default Sensors: To list the default sensors which the panel supports without configuration. This sensor appears as Default under the Status column.
Not Paired Sensors: To list all the sensors which are manually added; and are not learnt by the panel. The available not paired sensor is SiXTM series sensor. This sensor appears as Not Paired under the Status column.
Paired Sensors: To list all the sensors which are learnt by the panel. This sensor appears as Paired under the Status column.
Supervised: To list all the sensors which are supervised by the panel.
Unsupervised: To list all the sensors which are not supervised by the panel.
Click Apply. Based on the selection, all the sensors are listed.

The Add Sensor option enables you to add a new sensor.
To add a new sensor, perform the following steps:
In the Sensors page, click Add Sensor. The Add New Sensor dialog box appears.

Type the zone number of the zone. |

From the Sensor Type list, select the sensor type. Notes:

Type the serial number for the sensor. Notes:

Sensor Version |
Displays the version of the selected sensor. Note: This is a read-only field. |
Loop Number/Service |
From the list, select a loop number to which the sensor is connected. |
Device Type |
From the list, select the device type. |
Response Type |
From the list, select the response type for the device type. Note: This is enabled based on the selected Device Type. |
Zone Description 1 |
Type the description for the Zone. |
Zone Description 2 |
Type more description for the Zone. |
Chime |
From the list, select the chime option. Note: This is enabled based on the selected Device Type. |
Supervised |
Select to enable the communicator to supervise check-in to AlarmNet 360 once per month. |
Alarm Report |
Select to send an alarm report to the supervisor. |

Click Save. A confirmation message appears.
Click OK.

With the relevant access permission, you can edit the existing sensors.
To edit a sensor:
From the sensors list, click
the
icon
against the relevant sensor. The Edit
Sensor dialog box appears.
You can edit the relevant fields and then click Save.

Note: The following fields are disabled.

With the relevant access permission, you can delete the existing sensors.
To delete a sensor, perform the following steps:
From the sensors list, click
the
icon against the relevant sensor.
A warning message appears.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
You can pair two different sensors with specific response type values, across different zones. For example, some of the response type includes, Day/Night, Perimeter, and Interior Follower.
The Cross Zones page displays the list of paired sensors.
To add a cross zone:
Click the Cross Zones tab and then click Add Cross Zone. The Add Cross Zone dialog box appears.
From the Sensor list, select a sensor for Sensor 1 and Sensor 2.
From the Delay list, select the delay value. The delay value delays the response type of the paired sensors.
Click Save.

Note: You can add a maximum of four cross zones. |
