Keypads

The Keypads page enables you to view, search, add, edit, and delete the keypads.

Viewing or Searching for a Keypad

The Keypads page lists the keypads, along with the Starting Zone Number, Is Paired, Keypad Type (Wi-Fi or RF SiX), MAC Address, Description 1 and Description 2.

To search for a keypad:

  1. In the AlarmNet 360 home page, type the City-CS-Sub or MAC ID of the device and then click Search.
    The account number, along with the device details, appears.

  2. Under Actions, select Edit and then click the icon. The Account Overview page appears.

  3. In the left pane, click Keypads. The Keypads page appears.

  4. Type the Serial Number/MAC Address in the search bar and then press Enter. The relevant keypad is listed.

Adding an RF Keypad

The Add Keypad option enables you to add a new keypad.

To add a new keypad:

  1. In the Keypads page, select Add Keypad. The Add New Keypad dialog box appears.

Fields

Description

Zone Number

Type the zone number.

Note:

Based on the permission levels, the Zone Number field is disabled.

Keypad Type

From the Type list, select the keypad type.

Notes:

    • Click to enroll the keypad with the system.

    • During the learning mode, turn on the Keypad and wait until it is paired with the system. This may take about 5-10 seconds.

    • DO NOT close the browser window when the panel is in Learn mode. Else, the panel will remain in STANDBY mode for 10 minutes.

MAC Address

Type the MAC address for the device.

Keypad Version

Displays the version of the keypad. This is a read-only field.

Zone Description 1

Type the zone description.

Zone Description 2

Type more zone description, if any.

Supervision Interval

Displays the time interval set for supervision.

Note:

This is a read-only field for RF6 devices.

  1. Click Save. A confirmation message appears.

  2. Click OK.

Notes:

  • The Save and Add Another option in the Add New Keypad dialog box, enables you to save the newly added keypad and then add another keypad.

  • Click Cancel to cancel adding the keypad.

 

Editing a Keypad

With the relevant access permission, you can edit the existing keypad.

To edit a keypad:

  1. From the keypads list, click the  icon against the relevant keypad. The Edit Keypad dialog box appears.

  2. You can edit the relevant fields and then click Save.

Note:

The following fields are disabled.

  • Zone Number

  • Keypad Type

  • Keypad Version

  • Supervision Interval

Deleting a Keypad

With the relevant access permission, you can delete the existing keypad.

To delete a keypad:

  1. From the keypads list, click the icon against the relevant keypad.
    A warning message appears.

  2. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Viewing an Wi-Fi Keypad

Only if the panel is configured to a keypad, the Keypads page displays the records. This page is read only.

To view the keypads:

  1. In the AlarmNet 360 home page, type the City-CS-Sub or MAC ID of the device and then click Search. 
    The account number, along with the device details, appears.

  2. Under Actions, select Edit and then click the  icon. The Account Overview page appears.

  3. In the left pane, click Keypads. The Keypads page appears.

  4. The configured keypad, along with the following details, is displayed.
