The Firmware option enables you to register a new firmware; and view and delete the existing firmware.
The Firmware page lists the devices, along with the Device Family, Device Model, Latest Version, Firmware Description, Publishes Date & Time, Published By and the Actions. Click here to know about the actions.
To search for a firmware:
In the AlarmNet
360 home page, click the
icon.
From the list, click Firmware.
The Firmware page appears.
From the Device Family list, select the type of panel. The panels are categorized, grouped,and then listed.
From the Device
Model list, select the device model.
The relevant firmware, with all the details is listed.

Note: In the Device Family list, if you select All, then, you cannot select a specific Device Model. |
The Register New Firmware page enables you to register a new firmware.
To register a new firmware:
In the Firmware page, click Register Firmware.
The Register New Firmware pane appears.
From the File Server list, select the server where the firmware is located.
For the File URL, type the path of the firmware to locate the assigned file server.
Click Fetch.
The details of the new firmware is displayed.
Click Register Firmware.

Note: You can click Cancel to cancel the registration of the new firmware. |
The Upgrade Firmware page enables you to upgrade the existing firmware.
To upgrade a firmware:
From the Firmware
list, under Actions, click
the
icon against the relevant firmware.
The Upgrade Firmware page, along with the firmware version appears.
Enter the following details:

Job Name |
Displays the job name. If required, you can edit the job name. |
Device Type |
Displays the type of the device. |
Device Model |
Displays the model of the device. |
Start the job on |
Select Now to immediately start the firmware upgrade. |
Date |
Displays the option to select the date and time to schedule the firmware upgrade.

Force Upgrade |
Select to stop all the activities of the firmware and set a force upgrade. |
Eligible Accounts |
Displays the total count of accounts that are eligible for firmware upgrade. |
Selected Accounts |
Displays the total count of accounts that are selected for firmware upgrade. |
Devices Owned by |
Select the name of the owner who own the device. |
Filter Accounts |
Click the
OR

Click Apply. The relevant accounts are listed.
Select the required account.
Click Schedule appearing at the top right corner of the page.
With the relevant permissions, you can delete the existing firmware.
To delete a firmware:
From the firmware list, click the
icon against the relevant
firmware.
A warning message appears.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Note: All jobs associated with this firmware will be deleted. |
